About SahodPH
Free calculators and plain-language guides for Philippine pay: take-home salary, 13th month pay, overtime, holiday pay, and night differential.
Why SahodPH exists
"Sahod" is Filipino for wage. Most people in the Philippines first see the gap between their offer letter and their payslip on their first payday. Then they run into terms like Monthly Salary Credit, the 261-day factor, or "169% on a rest day". The rules are public, but they're spread across the Labor Code, BIR regulations, and separate SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG circulars.
SahodPH puts those rules in one place. Each calculator shows its formula and a worked example, and cites the law or circular it's based on. You can check the math yourself instead of trusting a black box.
Who runs it
SahodPH is an independent project built and maintained by Sebastian Jabson. You can reach me by email or LinkedIn. I read every report of a wrong number and fix confirmed errors, and each fix is logged on the site updates page.

How the numbers are checked
- Rates come from the source. Contribution rates and tax brackets are taken from the agency's own circulars and from the laws themselves, which are linked on each page. They aren't copied from other calculator sites.
- One engine, many pages. The salary calculator, the comparison tool, and the take-home pay table all use the same code, so a rate is changed once and updated everywhere.
- Worked examples are computed, not typed. The examples in each guide are produced by the calculator itself and match what you'll see when you enter the same numbers.
- Every page shows its review date. When a rule changes, the page, its review date, and the updates log change together.
What SahodPH is not
SahodPH isn't affiliated with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, BIR, DOLE, or any government agency. It isn't a payroll provider, and it doesn't give legal or tax advice. Results are estimates for planning. Your employer's official payslip and the agencies' own records are final. If you believe you're being underpaid, DOLE's regional offices handle labor standards complaints.
Your privacy
Every calculation runs in your browser. The salary figures you type are never sent to SahodPH or stored anywhere. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense for advertising. The privacy policy explains both.
How the site is funded
SahodPH is free to use and is supported by advertising. Advertisers have no say in the calculators, rates, or guides, and ads are kept clearly separate from calculator inputs and results.
